St Mirren star playmaker Jamie McGrath has been called up for international duty as Ireland continue their bid to qualify for the World Cup.
The talented midfielder made his debut for his country in June against Andorra.
Now he's been picked again by his former Dundalk manager Stephen Kenny as Ireland head into a qualifying triple header that will go a long way to determining their chances of qualifying for Qatar 2022.
They take on Portugal, Azerbaijan and Serbia over the upcoming international break, with 24-year-old McGrath hopeful of adding to his debut cap over the next few weeks.
St Mirren defender Daniel Finlayson has also been called up by Northern Ireland's under-21 side.
The former Rangers centre back will link up with their new boss John Schofield for the first time as they face UEFA under-21 Euro qualifiers against Malta and Slovakia next week.
Meanwhile St Mirren Academy products John McGinn and Kenny McLean have both been called up by Steve Clarke for Scotland's crucial World Cup qualifying triple header, with McLean returning from the injury that cruelly ruled him out of Euro 2020.
