Internacional manager Roger Machado has told the club's fans that the signing of Alexandro Bernabei from Celtic will be 'worth the wait'.
The Brazilian club are yet to announce the capture of the left-back on a permanent basis from the Scottish Premiership champions, despite a £4.5m deal being agreed.
That has sparked supporters into a sense of fear that the move may have collapsed, although boss Machado recently eased any worries: "You have to remember we first started talking with Celtic about Bernabei as far back as November," he said (RecordSport).

"The deal is almost complete and just needs very small alterations to confirm it. There's no worry about Bernabei's fitness, either.
"Bernabei is one of those guys who quickly regains his rhythm, he is young, he didn’t completely stop during the holidays too. This is a guy who was named as the best full back in Brazil. He will be worth the wait."
The 24-year-old's transformation since moving to Brazil last year has been quite something.
He was very much a fringe player under Brendan Rodgers at Celtic but has taken his game to a new level with Inter.
Bernabei was one of the best left-backs in Brazil last year, scoring three goals and assisting five across 23 appearances in the country's top flight.
A permanent move back to South America is now imminent for the Argentine after it never worked out for him in Glasgow's east end.
