Leeds United plan to make a move for reported Nottingham Forest transfer target Mbaye Diagne soon, according to reports.
Diagne, who has been heavily linked with a move to the two Championship clubs, is back with parent club Galatasaray after a loan stint with Club Brugge.
Brugge's season has been ended because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Diagne caused considerable confusion when he posted a picture of him in action for Brugge with a Forest badge superimposed on the snap.
He has subsequently clarified that by saying it wasn't intentional and that he didn't realise the picture had the Reds' crest on it.
Diagne, formerly of Juventus, is set to be the subject of an approach from Leeds 'in the coming days' report Turkish outlet Haberturk with the website adding that Marcelo Bielsa's side are to make 'concrete steps' in their bid to sign the Senegal international.
Diagne was first linked with the Reds in March, with the price tag then quoted at around €6-8 million.
As well as Leeds, Premier League side Watford have also been linked with a move for the 28-year-old.
Diagne has endured a tough season at Brugge, scoring just four goals.
However, those strikes have come in six matches, with Diagne playing in his last League match for Brugge at the beginning of November.
He hasn't played for the club since a furious row with coach Philippe Clement after a Champions League defeat to Paris-Saint Germain that same month.
