Inter Milan 'want Alexis Sanchez deal sorted this week' and more Manchester United rumours

Inter Milan have reportedly re-opened transfer talks with Manchester United for Alexis Sanchez, and want a deal completed this week.

Sanchez is linked with an exit from United before the European transfer windows close next week, with Inter looking at the Chilean to join former teammate Romelu Lukaku.

Now, the Mirror say Inter have returned to try and secure a loan deal for Sanchez, and the Italian club are hoping to seal the move in the coming days.

The report adds that United are looking for Inter to contribute a higher portion of Sanchez's salary if they are to complete the signing, with a £15m option to buy the forward next summer.

However, another report says Sanchez's proposed move away is under threat with United waiting on results of Anthony Martial’s thigh scan before granting him permission to leave.

Martial picked up the injury towards the end of Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace but didn’t come off as United had used up all their subs.

Now, the Guardian say United are holding off making a final decision on Sanchez so Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not left short of forward options.

Meanwhile, United midfielder Fred is the subject of reported interest from Fiorentina, according to reports.

Calciomercato claims the Serie A side want to take the Brazilian on a permanent deal..

Fred cost United £52million last summer and, given the the Reds lost Ander Herrera and weren’t able to sign a replacement, it is unlikely that they will sell. That’s despite Fred enduring a difficult debut campaign in Manchester last term.
