Inter Milan are reportedly lining up a move for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero as a replacement for Lautaro Martinez - according to reports.
Martinez has been heavily linked with an exit in the upcoming transfer window following a superb season under the tutelage of Antonio Conte.
Barcelona are believed to be the front runners for his signature but various media outlets have credited City with an interest in the Argentina international too, potentially as a long-term successor for Aguero.
Alfredo Pedulla believes Inter will look to the legendary City forward as a replacement for Martinez if the 22-year-old decides to leave the club.
Aguero is contracted until 2021 and has reiterated his desire to finish his playing career in Argentina.
Elsewhere, reports in Germany suggest Bayern Munich are yet to start negotiations with the Blues over the transfer of Leroy Sane.
The German champions have made no secret of their desire to bring the winger to the club after failing to secure his signature last summer.
Sane is in the same situation as Aguero as he will have just one year left on his deal in June meaning City run the risk of losing him for nothing at the end of next season.
SportBild claim Bayern are yet to approach City with a formal offer for the former Schalke star and believe Sane is willing to take a pay cut to force a move back to the Bundesliga.
Finally, they claim the German champions are ready to hand Sane the number ten shirt should he complete the move.
