Chelsea are looking to turn themselves into serious title contenders this summer by adding to their Champions League-winning squad.
The European success exceeded all Blues supporters' expectations but ever since Thomas Tuchel took charge at Stamford Bridge, the west London side have looked like one of the best teams in the country.
In order to continue their upwards trajectory, Marina Granovskaia may be very busy over the summer transfer window - with a host of names already being linked with a move to the capital.
The likes of Harry Kane, Erling Haaland and Achraf Hakimi have all been talked about over a possible move to the champions of Europe.
The latter of the three, Hakimi, was the subject of a reported bid on Wednesday - with Sky Sports claiming that Chelsea matched Paris Saint-Germain's £56.1million offer for the Morocco international.
As well as this, the Blues would appear to have the upper hand on PSG for his signature, with Inter wanting to sign Emerson Palmieri or Andreas Christensen.
Now, according to Sky Sports Germany reporter Max Bielefeld, Inter have made a breakthrough in negotiations to sign Filip Kostic from Eintracht Frankfurt, with the Hakimi deal important in pushing that one over the line. No bid has been made yet for Kostic because Inter need to raise funds.
The asking price for the Frankfurt winger is around €25m (£21.5m), but Inter will have to sell before they can buy. This was highly documented following Antonio Conte's shock departure from the San Siro.
So the Italian giants have a big decision they are set to make on the transfer front - whether to make their move for Kostic - which would likely mean they had to sell Hakimi.
Former Chelsea boss Conte left the Milan-based outfit after clinching the Serie A title with reports suggesting the club's hierarchy were looking to sell some of the side's star players due to the financial difficulties with the Italian giants.
Hakimi is someone that has experience playing on the right side of a midfield in a three-back formation, something Tuchel used regularly during the second half of last season.
Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi were both used on the right, with the former also slotting in as a right-sided centre-back occasionally.
The latter, Hudson-Odoi, is more of an out-and-out winger and the role perhaps limited his attacking qualities somewhat.
