Inter chase Lukaku, Wilson to Hammers, Maguire set for medical - Premier League rumours

With just 58 days of the transfer window remaining, Premier League clubs are starting to try and get business done in a more hasty fashion.

This time last year, certain English clubs had already secured their marquee signings for the campaign - but the current window has seen them wait a bit longer to make their announcements.

The best of these potential deals can all be found right here.

Maguire set for City medical

It looks like Manchester City have won the race for Leicester City defender Harry Maguire, who will reportedly arrive at the Etihad some time this week to complete a £65 million move.

The MEN claim that City have beaten rivals Manchester United to the English international, who has pencilled in a medical with the blues.

Inter chase Lukaku

Inter Milan are still interested in signing Romelu Lukaku but insist they need to sell Mauro Icardi before the deal can happen.

Reports from The Guardian suggest Icardi is desperate to leave Inter, but potential suitors don’t fancy paying £60 million for his services.

However, the club need to offload the Argentine if they stand any chance of financing the Lukaku move.

Everton want permanent Zouma deal

Everton were so impressed by Kurt Zouma’s performances on loan last season, they are reportedly interested in signing him on a permanent basis, according to The Telegraph.

The Chelsea centre-back has struggled for game time at Stamford Bridge in recent years and Everton want to take full advantage, opening negotiations.

However, due to the London club’s transfer ban, and the fact Antonio Rudiger is injured, they may opt to keep the Frenchman.

West Ham swoop for Wilson

The Sun claim West Ham have made Bournemouth hitman Callum Wilson their prime summer target in a deal that could be worth £35 million.

The Englishman netted 15 goals for Eddie Howe’s side last season and managed to attract the faith of national team coach Gareth Southgate - winning his first few England caps.

The 27-year-old also travelled to Portugal as part of the Nations League squad.

Liverpool enter race for Paris striker

Liverpool are interested in bringing Paris FC striker Silas Wamangituka to Anfield, according to a report from The Independent.

The 19-year-old had a fantastic breakthrough year for the French club, scoring 11 goals in 32 league matches.
