Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi has claimed Pep Guardiola is the "best coach in the world" ahead of the Champions League final.
Guardiola is aiming to secure the top prize in Europe’s elite club competition for the first time in 12 years. Heartbreak against Chelsea two years ago provides the perfect pre-game fuel for City in their quest to clinch the Champions League crown.
While Inter - sitting third in Serie A - enter the clash as underdogs, they are no European mugs by any stretch. The three-time champions last won the trophy in 2010 under Jose Mourinho and reached the Europa League final three years ago.

Guardiola dismissed suggestions that the clash with Inter would be a walk in the park after triumphing over Real Madrid a fortnight ago. He said: “A final against an Italian team is always not the best gift, honestly.
“After this victory, there will be a lot of compliments. I know it’s normal, but we have time to prepare mentally for the final. Of course, we will try to do it.”
Inter boss Inzaghi acknowledged the praise following his side’s 3-2 victory over Atalanta on Saturday, calling City the best team in the world.
“That makes me happy, coming from him,” Inzaghi told reporters (via Foot Italia). “We know City are the strongest team in the world. They have the best coach in the world.”
“We’ll prepare for the final in the best way possible. We’ll play for it with the qualities that brought us to Istanbul.”
