Inter Milan head coach Simone Inzaghi on Friday rejected his players were the underdogs in the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
Inzaghi's men take on Luis Enrique's charges on Saturday night at the Allianz Arena in Munich where PSG will attempt to win their fourth trophy of the season.
Inter's players will be seeking redemption after Napoli pipped them to the Serie A title by one point and they lost to city rivals AC Milan in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia.
"Big matches are often a lot closer than people imagine," said Inzaghi on the eve of the clash. "It's not how much the players are earning but how they play on the field.
"We were underdogs in the final a few years ago against Manchester City but we gave everything we had and they only just beat us."
Inzaghi said he would name his side for the final from a squad of fully fit players.
"It's only the third time I've been able to do that this season," said the 49-year-old Italian. "Everyone obviosuly wants to play. This is the match I dreamed of playing in as a kid and I didn’t make it here as a player but thanks to these players, I’ve made it twice as a coach.
"We're determined to win but it's not an obsession. We've got World Cup winners and Champions League winners in the team. We know how to get ready for this kind of game. It will be won on fine margins."

After finishing the league stage of this year's Champions League in fourth place, Inter advanced automatically to the last-16 where they disposed of Feyenoord.
In the quarter-final, they overcame Bayern Munich and in a 13-goal fest over two legs, they edged past Barcelona 7-6 on aggregate.
"We'll take confidence from the performances that got us to the final," Inzaghi added. "We will play to our strengths and we hope to win.
"We know that we are up against a team that is also well prepared and that has many qualities."
Inter twice won the European Cup before the competition morphed into the Champions League in 1992. Jose Mourinho steered the side to its third triumph in 2010.
PSG have never won European club football's most prestigious tournament in either of its guises.
"PSG have a fantastic coach in Luis Enrique," added Inzaghi. "He's someone I admire as a man and as a trainer. We are taking on great adversaries."
The winner of Saturday night's match will play in the European Super Cup final in August against Tottenham Hotspur who won the Europa League on 21 May.
“What is really important is that we continue to play the football we played up until now," added Inter skipper Lautaro Martinez.
"We must bring out the perfect performance on Saturday night."
