LUCKNOW: Passengers boarding international flights at Lucknow airport can now avail the facility of on-the-spot RT-PCR test.
The airport officials have installed 30 real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (rRT-PCR) machines.
Airlines have made it mandatory for passengers to carry rRT-PCR hard copy at airport before boarding international flights. Booths have been setup at the airport to collect rRTPCR samples on the arrival of passengers from international destinations. SC Hota, chief airport officer, Amausi airport, said, “Rapid RT-PCR test booth with 30 machines have been installed at Terminal 1 of Lucknow airport.”
