It’s one of the most popular social media apps around the world, and now Instagram has launched a handy new feature.
While people who view your posts usually see the most recent comments first, the new feature allows you to pin specific comments to your photos and videos.
The feature was first trialled back in May, but is now being rolled out to users around the world.
Instagram explained: “Today we’re rolling out pinned comments everywhere.
That means you can a pin a few comments to the top of your feed post and better manage the conversation.”
Here’s how to pin comments to the top of your photos and videos on Instagram.
How to pin comments
1. Open Instagram and tap on the far right icon in the bottom bar to go to your profile
2. Tap on the post that you’d like to pin a comment to
3. Tap on the ‘View all comments’ text to open up the comments page
4. Swipe left on the comment you’d like to pin
5. You’ll now see a pin icon alongside the reply, report and bin options
6. Tap on the pin icon, and that comment will be pinned to your post!
