Instagram testing subscription that allows users to watch stories anonymously

Meta is testing a new premium subscription service for Instagram called Instagram Plus.
Instagram Plus allows paying users to anonymously view other people's Stories and see how many times their own Stories have been rewatched.
This premium service is currently available in Mexico, Japan, and the Philippines, costing between $1 to $2 per month.
Meta is also reportedly developing WhatsApp Plus, a premium subscription for WhatsApp, which will offer features like exclusive ringtones, pinned chats, and customization options.
This strategy aligns with other social media platforms like Snapchat and X, which already offer paid subscription tiers for additional features.
