Instagram's new feature suggests which accounts you should unfollow

Do you ever look at your Instagram feed and question why you followed so many random accounts?

You might have loved sewing accounts five years ago but now your interests have changed and your feed is overwhelmed by various crafting pages.

If this sounds like you, then the social media platform's new features are perfect for you and they enable viewers to see and manage their followers.

According to Mirror Online, the 'Most shown in Feed' and 'Least Interacted With' features give you quick and easy access to the accounts you follow and they are even organised by category.

Instagram explained: “Instagram is all about bringing you closer to the people and things you care about but we know that over time, your interests and relationships can evolve and change.

“Whether you graduate, move to a new city or find a new hobby, we want to make it easier to manage the accounts you follow on Instagram so that they best represent your current interests and ensure yours is a feel good feed.”

You can manage the accounts you follow from these categories, choosing to unfollow them or even mute them.

Instagram users can also organise their following list from earliest to latest and vice versa, by tapping the two arrows next to ‘Sort By.’
