Instagram said it has deleted a number of videos of youths across Belfast fighting and hooking-up.
We counted around 55 pages with variations of the tag 'Belfast meets scraps' on the site last week, some of them going back to last year.
Youngsters in school uniform and their plain clothes appeared in fights in school yards and parks, while videos of young people kissing were also posted.
Some of them had been posted just a day before we took screen shots of some of the content.
Instagram said they have now removed accounts which "were violating our rules" after investigating the search term 'Belfast meets scraps'.
A spokesperson added: "We do not allow bullying or violence on Instagram and we have removed accounts which were found to be violating these rules.
"We will continue to remove this type of content when we become aware of it through user reports."
The internet giant's community guidelines say violence or serious threats to public or personal safety are not allowed on the site and that they make the safety of the community and young people a top priority.
Anyone with concerns about what is being posted on the site can report it through the app's reporting button.
It is understood Instagram reviewers work around the clock to check and remove any accounts that violate their rules as well as working with police when in any cases where they could be a threat to people's safety.
Those who break the guideline can be permanently banned from using Instagram.
