Instagram has came under fire after users blasted an "annoying" glitch.
Users have experienced problems with the social media platform since Monday. People have taken to Twitter and complained they have been forced to re-watch Instagram Stories before they can view a new one.
Andy said: "Someone please fix Instagram Stories I can’t take it!!" Futhi added: "Instagram stories are so annoying right now."

Grace posted: "Don’t even wanna watch peoples Instagram stories once let alone REPEATEDLY @instagram FIX THE GLITCH THANKS" Ashley commented: "Waking up every morning seeing the same Instagram stories over and over feels a lot like Groundhog Day. This Instagram glitch ain’t it."
Jb posted: "Why are Instagram stories starting from the start for every person if someone posts 6 stories I don’t wanna watch all 6 when they post a new one what is this glitch" Megan added :"Is anyone's Instagram stories repeating popping up? Is it a glitch?"
How to fix the Instagram glitch?
A spokesperson from Instagram owner, Meta, confirmed to Verge they are they working to fix the problem as soon as possible. Instagram have released an update in the App store that has resolved the issue for some users.
The update is attached with a note that said: "The latest version contains bug fixes and performance improvements."
Users took to social media and claimed the update resolved the problem. Asia commented: "So the Instagram glitch with the stories, if you go in the app store & update your app the glitch is fixed."
M said: "I’m so happy they fixed Instagram" Krissie posted: "Instagram fixed that whole mess with the stories."
