NAGPUR: An undeleted chat in Instagram led to the murder of 22-year-old Aman Nagdive, near Itarsi railway bridge behind Mecosabagh slums, on Sunday. Nagdive is learnt to have chatted with another friend about his plan to eliminate one Ajju alias Ajay, who subsequently plotted his murder.
Police sources said Nagdive’s mother had taken a loan of Rs15,000 from Ajju, who has a past murder case against him. She was not returning the amount. This had created a dispute between Ajju and Nagdive and his family. Nagdive had to give his cellphone to Ajju as guarantee until the loan was settled.
Ajju is learnt to have come across chats of Nagdive in his cellphone, where the victim had expressed his desire to kill the goon who was troubling him and his family for the loan.
Ajju laid a trap and lured Nagdive to enjoy marijuana near the railway tracks, where he had asked one Masram to bludgeon the man to death. Jaripatka police, which have registered an offence, have rounded up the suspects for questioning.
