In the new biographical film Le Mans '66, opinionated American automotive designer Carroll Shelby (Oscar winner Matt Damon ) and undaunted British race car driver Ken Miles (Oscar winner Christian Bale ) battle corporate interference, the laws of physics and their own personal troubles to construct a revolutionary vehicle for the Ford Motor Company.
The final goal is to have the car compete against Enzo Ferrari's own killer vehicle in the 24 hour race at Le Mans in 1966.
