A model in her 70s is now inspiring others with her infectious confidence and age-positive attitude towards fashion trends.
Colleen Heidemann, who began modelling at 69, has worked hard to build up her career since then, leaving social media users in awe, the Mirror reports.
The stylish 73-year-old is signed with top modelling and talent agency, NEXT Management which is a strong advocate for promoting opportunities for older women and has previously signed the likes of Dua Lipa, Alexa Chung and Billie Eilish.
Colleen has made quite the impression online to her now 320k followers on TikTok who admire her striking white hair and daily fashion looks.
The model, who goes by the username @colleen_heidmann, shared a recent video where she is dressed in a little black dress, thigh-high boots and a chic leather jacket accompanied with an oversized pair of sunglasses to complete the glamorous look.
She wished her followers a happy new year as she captioned the clip: "I DRESS MY AGE HOWEVER I WANT!!!", as the model refuses to abide by the arbitrary 'rules' that dictate so-called age-appropriate clothing.
Thudding music with a confident voiceover declaring: "Don't let them define you. We are strong. We are not invisible. I dress my age however I want."
One social media user praised: "You always look fabulous! I love this post because I get told to dress my age a lot. I'm 60, and dressing my age is whatever I pull out of my closet!"
Another commented: "Thank you I am 74 and they act like I should be wearing a hairnet and polyester pants. You are a gorgeous, strong woman."
A third agreed: "I dress my age however I want and I'm 67."
