Rangers fans have been told what to expect from Ben Godfrey by his former manager at Brondby.
The central defender is closing in on a loan switch to Ibrox to become Derek McInnes' first signing for the club. The experienced centre-half has been dubbed a leader by Steve Cooper who was the 28-year-old's gaffer last season.
And the one-time £25million Everton star will bring a strong attitude as well as a positive vibe to Glasgow which former Nottingham Forest and Swansea City boss Cooper claims he had in abundance in Denmark.
He said: "Ben has been brilliant for us both on and especially off the pitch. He has become a leader in the dressing room and he has become very popular. He has come with a fantastic attitude with a lot of humility.
"I know he has loved his time here and he has gone through what you have seen a million times when people come to Brondby - that they end up enjoying and loving being here.
"You can see it in his actions on the pitch and showing how much it means to him. He has been a big influence in the dressing room and helps the young players in training. He has had a really positive effect here.
"We are really happy with Ben, his approach, the leadership he has shown in the dressing room and the handling of different situations. I have enjoyed having him as my player."
Godfrey has two England caps and could potentially fill the leadership void left by James Tavernier at the end of last season.
He spent the second half of last term on loan with Brondby where he played 12 times.
