Off the heels of a heated Beckham sibling callout, an insider has revealed the rumoured reason behind why Brooklyn Beckham blocked his whole family ahead of the festive season, and honestly, it’s bloody wild.
While we, mere mortals, figure out who is and isn’t invited to Chrissy dinner, the rumoured Beckham family feud reached new heights with Cruz Beckham calling out his older brother for blocking their uber famous parents, Victoria and David Beckham, and the rest of his siblings.
At the time, the reason behind the Beckham mass-blocking wasn’t explained. Heck, neither Brooklyn nor his wife, Nicola Peltz, have yet to address Cruz’s scathing callout. However, insiders who claim to be close to the footballing family have revealed why it happened.
Why did Brooklyn Beckham block the Beckham family?
Now, before we get into the thick of it, I just want to state that — like all celebrity tea — please take it with a grain of salt as it hasn’t been confirmed by the celebs themselves. So, just a heads up when taking in this golden nugget of goss because it’s quite the doozy.
Well, in a wild turn of events, an insider claimed to the US Sun that Brooklyn blocked his family after Victoria liked a post he shared.
After fans spotted that the ex-Spice Girl liked her son’s video, his post was flooded with comments urging the footballer-turned-model-turned-photographer-turned-chef to make amends with his family.
Out of annoyance with the comments, the insider claimed Brooklyn blocked his family.
“David and Victoria are understandably heartbroken by what’s gone on here,” the insider told the publication, before adding that “Cruz and Romeo are furious” over Brooklyn’s “public attack”.
“This came out of the blue for them, and in the lead-up to Christmas when families are supposed to come together, it’s devastating.”
The insider said David and Victoria just want everything to be fixed. However, Brooklyn would prefer to have things done in private.
“All they want is for things to be fixed, but with every week they just seem to be getting worse,” the source continued.
“As for Brooklyn, he wants things fixed in private and not played out on social media, although his actions have resulted in quite the opposite.”
The rumoured Beckham family feud first stemmed in 2022, with reports claiming Victoria clashed with Nicola over wedding planning. However, the rift really lit up headlines earlier this year when fans noticed that Nicola and Brooklyn had been absent from David’s 50th birthday celebrations.
From withdrawing from the Met Gala, to Cruz and Romeo’s social media jabs, the rumoured feud continued to rage on up until Victoria gave Brooklyn a shout out at the London premiere of her Netflix documentary — which he and Nicola didn’t attend.
Unfortunately, it looks like that attempt at an olive branch has been scorched with Brooklyn’s decision to block the family.
