The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle is rife with speculation that Big Brother star Holly Young will join the cast of the upcoming season, slated for early next year.
In what could be an Avengers-style reality TV crossover, Holly — who was evicted from the Big Brother reboot season last month — is apparently being eyed by Network 10 for a stint in the jungle alongside a host of as-yet unannounced castmates.
“Putting Holly in the jungle would be massive,” an insider told Woman’s Day. “[She] is desperate to show another side of herself. She wants to stand alongside celebrities.”
While they stopped short of naming names, the source added that Holly has “more followers” than some of those already in the cast for I’m A Celeb’s 12th season, which started sharing clues about its next batch of contestants earlier this week.
Holly could cause quite a stir on I’m A Celeb, since her stint on Big Brother was marked by a splashy romance with fellow housemate Colin, as well as rumours she was scouted by Network 10 and an ongoing feud with current Big Brother finalist Coco.
Still, we won’t know for sure whether Holly will make the jump from Dreamworld to the jungle until Network 10 announces the I’m A Celeb cast beyond the cryptic hints it dropped on Thursday.
For all you Sherlock Holmeses, those cast clues included an AFL A-lister, a Hollywood sitcom star, a radio queen and a reality TV bad boy, among others.
Fan predictions included everyone from Luke Bateman to Mary Fowler and The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons, but all of those could go BAZINGA! when the casts’ real identities are revealed in the I’m A Celeb premiere on January 18, 2026.
The new season will again be hosted by Julia Morris and Rob Irwin, fresh off his win on the US version of Dancing With The Stars. Welcome home, Rob!
Big Brother, meanwhile, is gearing up for its finale, with the winner to be crowned during the last episode slated for Monday, December 8.
It’s almost too many reality shows to keep up with. I say ‘almost’ because there is truly no such thing as too much reality TV.
