Naomi Campbell has been inundated with well-wishes after the supermodel unveiled the surprise news that she had become a mum.
On Tuesday, the 50-year-old icon sent social media into meltdown when she shared an adorable picture that featured a snippet of the tiny newborn.
While the news came as quite a surprise for many of her fans, it appears that some of Naomi's inner circle may have known that Naomi was going to become a mum for the first time.
In the comment section underneath the adorable snap, several of her celebrity pals have suggested that they had prior knowledge of the baby news or have even met the newborn already.
Among her inner circle is fashion designer Marc Jacobs, whose touching message appeared to suggest that he knew the the model was about to become a parent.
"Oh my God!!!!! Today is the day?? How absolutely incredible. How lucky she is and how lucky you are! What a wonderful Mother you will be. Blessings all around," the designer wrote underneath Naomi's post.
Elsewhere in the comment section, was a message from Vogue's Edward Enninful, who revealed that he had already seen mum and baby before the announcement was made.
"Seeing the two of you together made my year. You will bring each other so much joy @naomi," he wrote on her Instagram page.
Vanity Fair editor Elizabeth Saltzman also added a cute message which revealed that she had also seen Naomi and her baby.
"Seeing you and your mama yesterday was pure joy. I promise as an auntie to always be there to listen and hear you, to help and love you, to laugh and dance with you. So much love for you both!" Elizabeth added.
Others that have shared their support were Donatella Versace, Sophie Turner, Kim Kardashian and Jodi Turner-Smith to name just a few.
Another person close to Naomi who has since broken her silence was the supermodel's mum Valerie Morris-Campbell, who said that she'd 'waited a long time' to become a grandmother.
Valerie on social media: "Congratulations to my daughter Naomi on the birth of her daughter, I’m beyond thrilled as I’ve waited a longtime to be grandmother. @naomi."
Alongside a host of cute messages from friends and fans, some of Naomi's followers have been left speculating who the father of Naomi's baby might be.
Known for keeping her private life firmly under wraps, it was recently reported that Naomi has been living with a partner in the United States and couldn't be happier.
