A stunning, top-of-the-range cruise ship complete with a planterarium and two swimming pools has docked in Edinburgh today.
The Viking Jupiter has capacity for 930 guests, features two swimming pools, a spa and has eight restaurants on-board.
It's also packed full of original artworks, including pieces by famed Norwegian artist Edvard Munch.
Prior to arriving at Newhaven today – its first visit to this part of the world – it stopped off in Lerwick and Kirkwall, and will depart later today for London.
However passengers have been treated to a stunning day weather-wise as they various of the city's most iconic sights.
Wendy Atkin-Smith, managing director at Viking UK, said: "Viking Jupiter and all our guests received a warm welcome from the people of Edinburgh this morning – our maiden call to any city is always exciting but the arrival into Newhaven is particularly special because of the incredible location in close proximity to Edinburgh."
Rob Mason, head of cruise for Capital Cruising in Scotland, added: "We are excited to welcome Viking Jupiter for her maiden visit into Newhaven today. Our cruise business is thriving and our passenger numbers are growing each year."
