A historic Victorian building in Trafford has been given a new lease of life by a £1 million make over.
The Trafford Hall Hotel on Talbot Road has been given a 'stunning' refurbishment paying homage to its roots.
When the hotel building first opened in 1933, it was used by the Urban District Council of Stretford, which would later become Trafford Council, for district meetings.

The building remained in use by the local authority until it was decided the building was no longer suitable for council use.
In 1974, as the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford was formed, the council moved into its current premises at the Trafford Town Hall, also on Talbot Road.
The Trafford Hall building was then converted into use as a hotel - something it has remained as ever since.
Bosses at the four-star ‘boutique’ hotel have now completed a two-year renovation project.
The original period staircase and grand hall remain a staple feature of the hotel, which boasts imposing ceilings and spacious rooms.
The hotel has capacity for around 200 guests and owners Brilliant Hotels now hope to attract visitors to the nearby Manchester United stadium and Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground.

“The building is beautiful and it was very important to us to take great care with this refurb as the building plays such an important role in the local community.
“We have lots of events planned and we are looking forward to the easing of COVID-19 restrictions and hosting grand events at the hotel.”
