
Mayfield has a new top mark after the $1.4 million exchange of a tri-level residence at 88 Crebert Street.
The sale of the five-bedroom, three-bathroom house came within 10 days on the market and set a new suburb record for a non-development site in Mayfield.
It eclipsed the previous high of $1.18 million for a home in Kerr Street, according to Australian Property Monitors data.
Scott Ferris, of One Agency Ferris Properties, marketed the Crebert Street house. It had multiple indoor and outdoor living options, a Nadin West kitchen, bar, master suite, office and pool.
A new street record, rumoured to be at $1.8 million, is believed to have been set with the undisclosed sale of a five-bedroom house at 45 Seaman Avenue in Warners Bay marketed by Belle Property Lake Macquarie.


Scott Purnell, of Dalton Partners The Junction, reported a three-bedroom harbourfront apartment with a coveted north-east aspect at 205/3A Honeysuckle Drive had been "snapped up" by a Sydney buyer for its guide of $1.85 million.
Dalton Partners The Junction have also sold a house with a fully enclosable pool at 77 Macquarie Street in Merewether for $1.47 million.
