Inside the stunning country pub being raffled off - and it could be yours for a tenner

The owners of a countryside pub are raffling off the business - and it comes fully stocked with beer and wine.

Owner Judith Brown, who runs the pub The Raglan Arms in the Welsh countryside, with husband William said the couple want to give someone a start in the industry.

The Raglan Arms was named one of the top 20 gastropubs in Wales - and comes with four-bedroom accommodation.

It boasts a restaurant seating 32, a conservatory dining area seating 18, and a lounge bar seating 14, as well as an outdoor deck area seating 37, and a car park with spaces for 30 cars.

The advert even says it will be fully stocked, meaning barrels full of beer and fridges packed with alcohol all ready at your disposal.

Photographs of the AA rosette venue show it comes complete with a cosy fire, and lots of dining options.

Judith said: "We know how hard it is to get that deposit together, especially in this industry and particularly so at this time.

"We are therefore entering the Raglan Arms as a prize to give someone that chance to own their own restaurant with no start-up debts.

"The prize includes the business property, all fixtures and fittings, including stock, and a spacious four-bedroom accommodation over the business."

The couple has run the pub for more than six years - and are ready to pass it on.

Williams said: "We want it to go to someone who will treasure it, and run it like a dream."

The pub and restaurant in Llandenny - between Raglan and Usk in Monmouthshire - is being sold in the raffle to 'give someone the chance to get involved in their dream industry'.

The competition will run for two months, until July 8 - and the total number of paid entries for the competition will be 95,000.

Also on offer this month, is a newly refurbished three-bedroom London home.

Owner Daniel Twenefour is raffling his property, 6 Tramway Path, with tickets priced at just £2 each.

His aim is to sell 200,000 tickets and raise £400,000 - as he claims the home was valued by estate agents in 2019 as being worth between £410,000 and £415,000.

If the raffle reaches it's target, the winning ticket will be given the house, in Mitcham, mortgage-free and Daniel will also be making donations to local charities such as Jigsaw4u and NHS Charities Together in support of the fight against Coronavirus.
