Elon Musk has lifted the lid on his brand new Tesla diner - a one-of-a-kind high tech restaurant where customers don’t even have to get out their cars to place an order.
Motorists will be served by robots and can order a spot of food from their car touchscreens in the super high tech new diner which can be found in Los Angeles, America on the famous Santa Monica Boulevard.
The futuristic venue has an array of high tech features inside as well as 80 superchargers set up to cater to all visitor’s needs.
It is the first of its kind in the world, with the boss himself Elon Musk, labelling it one of the “coolest spots” in LA.
Writing on X, he said: “I just had dinner at the retro-futuristic @Tesla diner and Supercharger.
“Team did great work making it one of the coolest spots in LA!”
The idea behind the new venture is relatively simple, according to Musk, who called it: “An island of good food, good vibes & entertainment, all while Supercharging!”.
A humanoid robot called Optimus can be found inside, who is programmed to serve popcorn to guests as they arrive.
The robot was designed by Tesla and can be seen waving to guests, serving up the snack, and then giving a thumbs up afterwards.
And despite the high tech additions, the diner also serves up traditional diner food including hot dogs, burgers, milkshakes and fries - all in mini Tesla Cybertruck shaped boxes, as you can see here:
Tesla Diner Hollywood also has two 20-metre LED screens, and this has essentially turned the location into a drive-in cinema with the audio for the movies directly streamed into visitors' cars.
And you don’t even have to get out of your car to enjoy the experience of the food.
As well as the outside looking like a super cool spaceship, the inside also has an array of cool features including spacey lighting and robots on the walls
The restaurant has two levels, and offers 24/7 dining, meaning you can grab a meal with a view at any time you please.
And there is even merchandise you can pick up, including t shirts, mini robot figurines and even special LED light signs.
Visitors have already lined up to give it glowing reviews:
One wrote on Facebook: “It was very busy as you can imagine, but it was super cool and efficient as you would expect with it taking human error out,” while another added: “Is this the future? Expect to see these pop up all over the world from now. They will be the next big chain.”
