With people getting back to buying and selling houses, websites such as Rightmove and Zoopla allow people to easily window shop without leaving the house.
While a lot of people are back on the move in Bolton, it is often the luxury properties which are the most viewed and on Rightmove this was certainly the case.
Colemans Barn
Colemans, which is situated on a private road off Chorley Old Road, in Horwich, is a stunning four bedroom, detached barn conversion.
Priced up at just under £2.5 million, it also has two driveways, a three car garage, and a basement which includes a gym, a playroom and a study.
On Zoopla, last month's most viewed properties in Bolton are much more affordable.
Tonge Moor Road
The most viewed property of the month has now changed hands but the second most clicked on is a three bedroom, terraced house in the Tonge Moor area of Bolton.
Described as a 'great investment' by estate agents Miller Metcalfe, the Tonge Moor Road house is valued at just £55,000.
Longfield Road
Slightly more expensive but still very affordable is a property in Longfield Road, Daubhill.
Harrisons Estate Agents describe the home as a "project", which "requires full modernisation throughout".
The three bedroom, semi-detached house was the third most viewed Bolton property on Zoopla last month. It is up for auction with bidding starting from £85,000.
Smedley Avenue
The fifth most viewed property in Bolton on Zoopla is this stylish, modern, three bedroom, semi-detached house in Smedley Avenue, Great Lever.
Recently refurbished, the current owners said that they "picked this property up in a real sorry state and managed to transform it into something quite special giving it a real homely feel."
Estate agent Purplebricks said that it "would suit a first time buyer who does not want any extra spending".
