Inside the Man City dressing room after Newcastle United draw and what happened in tunnel

Those Newcastle United fans who are still replaying Jonjo Shelvey's stunning late equaliser against Man City can now relive a dramatic afternoon at St James' Park from a whole new perspective.

From the Longstaffs signing balls for fans on their way to the home dressing room to Emil Krafth giving Shelvey a reassuring pat on the back as the teams lined up before kick-off, Newcastle's new YouTube video takes supporters behind the scenes of the 2-2 draw.

Andy Carroll , who missed the game through injury, is even captured telling young fans to enjoy the game as he walked through the players' entrance to support his team-mates.

The cameras were also set up inside the tunnel as players and staff made their way to the dressing room after the game. Shelvey's late equaliser had Steve Bruce's heart racing and the Newcastle head coach quipped: "It's not good for you. Certainly not good for you!"

In the away dressing room, Man City were counting the cost of dropping another two points in the title race and Liverpool went on to move 11 points clear of the champions following a 2-1 win against Brighton later that day. Kyle Walker was staying upbeat, though, with his post-match address to his team-mates.

"I have just said in there, ‘I look at you guys, you are my family'. I see the lads on the bus more than I see my own kids," the City defender told reporters after the game.

“We are going to experience ups and downs throughout our playing careers together at Manchester City. Fortunately, up to now, it has been plain sailing.

"We have gone on and done what we have done. We are only human. We don't go on to the pitch expecting to draw or lose but there are going to be mistakes in games. Some things will cost you games.

“But now I feel we have got to pull together as a squad and get the belief going again and make sure we do go on a run to put some pressure on the people above us.

“It is an echo around the dressing room, it is not just me. It is the experienced lads who are saying that. We have dropped points here, we know that. It doesn't take the manager to come and say we should be winning at Newcastle.

“We know as players and professionals we should come here and get three points but we haven't and take you hats off to the way they played. Tactically they did their job. We move on to Burnley now.”
