A gastropub, farmers’ market, and its own cinema - these are just some of the services a new luxury care home in Cheshire is promising residents.
The facility - Priesty Fields - in Congleton will officially open its doors next week.
Bosses say they offer the 'very best' in person-centred care and have released images of what to expect, CheshireLive reports.

The home will offer 78 spacious en-suite bedrooms, along with a gastropub, farmers market, cinema, spa, salon, gym, library, private dining room, garden lounge, and a GP office.
Final preparations have been taking place at the home, part of the Handsale group, in recent weeks ahead of Town Mayor, Cllr Denis Murphy, fronting the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, November 15.

Rishi Sodha, care director at Handsale, said: “We are absolutely delighted we now have an official opening date in the diary.
"All the staff here at Priesty Fields can’t wait to welcome the new residents with open arms and create a truly comfortable and thriving care environment for them - where they can maintain their independence and continue to live fulfilling lives.”

The physical structure of the building will be tailored to suit the specific needs of people requiring continuous care, with communal areas that encourage independence and stimulate the senses being included in the design, owners say.

Priesty Fields’ approach is aimed at taking into account peoples’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing, and it boasts trendy 'living walls', natural wood, stone, and glass features.
Meanwhile, the home has been built with sustainability in mind - boasting a heat recovery system and environmentally friendly lighting for low energy consumption.

Rishi continued: "We hope the communal areas will provide the perfect environment for stories to be told and friendships to be forged - creating a strong sense of community within the home.
"Our opening day will provide the residents and their families with the perfect opportunity to gain an insight into how we operate at Handsale, and hopefully rest easy in the knowledge that their loved ones will receive the highest quality of person-centered care."
He concluded: “We can’t wait for the opening of Priesty Fields. There may also be a surprise or two on the day to mark the much-anticipated occasion.”
Priesty Fields will become the ninth home of the Handsale care group, which runs eight residential and nursing care homes across England, Scotland and Wales.
