Inside the industrial estate unit where more than 1,200 cannabis plants were found

A man has been arrested after police uncovered a huge cannabis farm in Bolton.

A total of 1,227 plants were discovered during the raid on a unit at Pilot Works Industrial Estate, in Great Lever, yesterday (April 14).

Officers say they also found 15 bags of 'fully cropped' cannabis plants hidden at the site, off Manchester Road.

Pictures shared on social media by officers showed the sophisticated set-up.
