Inside the celebrations at Swansea City's commentary box as players go wild after Nottingham Forest crash out of play-offs

These are the scenes of celebration after Swansea City defied the odds to secure a spot in the Championship play-offs.

With the odds of success stacked against them, the Swans miraculously made the top six thanks to a 4-1 demolition of Reading and Nottingham Forest's defeat against Stoke.

The Swansea players and coaches were understandably elated after the news filtered in from the City Ground that the Potters had done the business against Forest.

And for those watching the scenes from the Madjeski Stadium back in SA1 - be it squad members, staff or the commentators for the SwansTV feed - the dramatic finale was too much to take.

As it became apparent that the Swans had done enough to reach the play-offs, the celebrations kicked into gear - with videos posted on social media showing the wild scenes.

One video, posted by U23s kit manager Shaun Baggridge, showed the commentators for SwansTV getting swarmed by players not involved in the matchday squad.

And another, posted by Swans midfielder George Byers, showed the players not involved watching the moment Swansea's spot in the play-offs was confirmed on a big screen.
