The Big Bang Theory has come to an end after 12 years and one of its stars, Kaley Cuoco, has documented the emotional behind-the-scenes moments during filming.
The hit comedy series came to an emotional end with all the cast watching their characters' final moments together.
Kaley, who played Penny on the hit series, gave fans an insight into the cast's emotional goodbye on Instagram .
The 33-year-old gave a taste of what the farewell to one of the most popular TV shows of recent years was like with lots of hugs and tears among the cast and crew.

In the first of a series of snaps from behind the camera, Kaley shared a pic of the cast taking the last bow before the series was wrapped up.
Captioning the pic, Kaley wrote: "FINAL BOWS TONIGHT".
She followed this with a sneaky photo from the season's finale of her and Jim Parsons 'not paying attention' as directions are given.

Kaley also revealed that the cast and crew sat together for a "last supper" and the photo showed that they were all in high spirits.
It has been an emotional time for all involved with the comedy and Kaley has described that when the finale came to an end, it was like there was a 'death'.
In an appearance on CBS This Morning, alongside co-star Johnny Galecki, she admitted: "It was kind of like a death, in a way. It's been a long, long time together."

Kaley also revealed the moment when a young fan told her that she "loved the show".
When she asked long she had been watching, the '10-year-old' said: "Well, it started before I was born."
This was met with a disconcerting frown by Kaley, who realised how much of her life had been dedicated to the comedy.
Kaley also appeared in other cast members' snaps, who also documented their last day together.

Johnny shared a photo of his last scene with Kaley, who played his wife Penny in the show, as they threw grapes at the photographer before embracing for a last time.
Fan favourite Sheldon Cooper was played by Jim Parsons and he also shared on social media some pics from their last day together.
One pic showed the cast together in a group hug and Jim captioned the photo: "It was really hard to pick the right pic for this post, so here is a shot of us in a hug after we filmed the last group scene we would ever film for the series...

"If you enjoy it even half as much as we've enjoyed (LOVED) creating this show for the past 12 years, then that'll be a WHOLE WHOLE lot of enjoyment.
"All of us will miss seeing you in this format, but we will be around in all sorts of ways, I assure you... love love love."
The Big Bang Theory made its debut in 2007 and followed the lives of a group of scientist friends that worked at Caltech.
Over its time the show was showered with numerous awards and Jim won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series multiple times, for his depiction of Sheldon.
