Strictly's new professional dancer Kai Widdrington has become a fan favourite thanks to his killer moves and on-screen chemistry with celebrity partner AJ Odudu.
But what fans may not know is that if the 26-year-old makes it to the final, he won't be the first one in his family to find success in the public eye.
Kai's father Tommy Widdrington is a famous footballer who played in the English Football League.
On last Saturday's episode, host Claudia Winkleman was chatting to Kai and Aj after their exciting Charleston when the camera panned to Tommy smiling broadly from the live audience.
The former sportsman, 50, who has made over 372 appearances in his 15-year career, now works as a director at Bristol Rovers.
Strictly fans were left stunned when they learned of the dancer's family ties and took to Twitter.
One wrote: "I love aj and kai so much that Charlestown was brilliant, they're so hot, plus his dad works for my football team so we have to stan them for that!!! #Strictly".
"Tommy Widdrington Kai's dad. Director at Bristol Rovers Football club @Official_BRFC," another said.
While one simply showed their appreciation for the ex-footballer's looks and said: "Kai’s dad is a DILF. Pass it on #Strictly".
Kai very nearly followed in his famous father's footsteps. At age 12, he turned down a contract with the Premier League to pursue a career in dancing.
Kai and TV presenter AJ, 33, have been impressing the judges and audience with their flawless routines in the ballroom, and last weekend earned them unanimous praise from the judges, with Craig Revel Horwood calling the dance: "Ah-may-zing!"
But it's not just their fancy footwork that has got fans talking.
The pair's on-screen chemistry has sparked rumours of a romance between them throughout the series.
AJ has also added to the speculation by also recently having Kai hang out with her family, including her mum.
The Lancashire-born TV star took Kai to her hometown football club's ground, Ellwood Park, where they walked the touchline and posed in the dugout.
AJ, who had worked at the stadium pre-fame, shared the moments in an Instagram video: "I've bought Kai to Blackburn. You've made it, Kai.
"We're at Ewood Park with some of my family. This is where I used to work, so it's brilliant. I'm having a great time, are you having a great time?"
It follows AJ recently liking a post hinting at the pair's romance.
It read: “Flipping love @AJOdudu what a top girl! Such a great attitude & lovely personality. I hope she is getting it on with Kai cos she deserves it! #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly #Strictlycatchup".
The two compete against five other couples on Saturday night as the competition nears the quarter final on December 4.
