Inside Soap Awards' boozy afterparty sees the stars let loose

The Inside Soap Awards is one of the biggest nights in the TV calendar and the stars of the small screen like to celebrate accordingly.

Famous faces from Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, EastEnders and Coronation Street gathered at London's swanky Sway Bar on Monday night to mark their achievements in style.

After the awards were handed out and the completed, many of the stars seized the opportunity to let loose with a drink or two.

Emmerdale star Sally Dexter looked in good spirits as she was papped leaving the venue with her goodie bag under her arm.

Sally, who plays Faith Dingle in the ITV soap, continued the party outside as she appeared to be dancing in the street.

The actress looked determined to end her night on a high after confirming her plans to leave Emmerdale this year.

While EastEnders Lorraine Stanely also appeared to be living her best life after taking home the award for Funniest Female.

The 43-year-old actress, best known for her role as Karen Taylor, emerged proudly clutching her trophy and pulling a variety of faces to show off her excitement.

She then showed off her funny girl status by larking around in the back of her taxi.

By contrast, fellow EastEnder Louisa Lytton looked ready for bed as she closed her eyes in the back of her cab.

Her co-star Clair Norris also looked relieved to whip off her stiletto heels at the end night as she headed home to bed.

Hollyoaks' Jake Quickenden did not appear anywhere near ready to hit the hay when he finally emerged from the plush venue.

His first time at the bash turned out to be a very successful one as the Channel 4 program won the prestigious Best Soap Award for the first time ever.
