Inside Real Madrid's explosive Neymar medical dossier as transfer target hints his heart lies in Barcelona

Real Madrid are refusing to budge on their strict Neymar demands as the European heavyweights look to seal the transfer deal of the summer.

Barcelona remain the favourite to land the £197million Samba superstar before the close of the window but their rivals are also in the hunt.

Paris Saint-Germain, one of the richest clubs in the world, have been able to play the long game in a bid to maximise any potential deal for the unhappy Brazilian.

Sport report both teams believe they are in with a real chance to strike but Madrid president Florentino Perez is notoriously difficult to get one over on during high stake signing negotiations.

But Zinedine Zidane's side aren't willing to cash the cheque without running some checks.

Marca claim Real Madrid chiefs have assembled a detailed injury dossier that could make or break one of the biggest transfer sagas in recent memory.

The concerns stem from a series of foot injuries the 27-year-old has been suffering and it's the same injury that ruled the world superstar out of Brazil's squad for the Copa America.

Any hesitancy from Madrid would let Barcelona in and the player isn't trying to hide the face he wants a return to the Nou Camp.

Neymar was busy on social media in recent hours as he liked updates from Antoine Griezmann and Sergio Busquets in the aftermath of his former team's resounding 5-2 win over Betis on Sunday.

Barcelona have been locked in talks with PSG in recent weeks and a loan with an option to buy for €200m next summer has been discussed.

It's been a summer of drama and the Ligue 1 big-spenders certainly didn't appear to miss their main man on Sunday as they thrashed Toulouse 4-0.

But boss Thomas Tuchel is desperate for Neymar's transfer future to be sorted one way or another before the September 2 deadline.
