Inside Princess Andre's epic 16th birthday - wads of cash and swanky date with boyfriend

Princess Andre has reached the grand old age of 16 and the young influencer and reality star made sure to celebrate in style.

The Pretty Little Thing model spent the big day with her dad Pete, his wife Emily, 33, and her brother Junior, 18.

Sharing the happy event with her 623,000 Instagram followers, the eldest daughter of Katie Price and Peter Andre, revealed she had been treated to an evening out at The Shard with her boyfriend.

Clearly going all out to impress his date, Princess shared a series of snaps from the special evening.

Arriving at the famous building in style, the reality star could be seen sitting in a posh white car looking stunning in a short black dress with matching shoes, and a white handbag.

Revealing a pic of the delicious food they enjoyed – check out the mashed potato – the teenager showed off her natural beauty by wearing her long curly hair down and minimal make-up.

Wearing two necklaces to complement her outfit, a jaw-dropping view of the capital could be seen behind her.

She then shared a sweet snap of her boyfriend, who looked equally smart in a sharp black suit and shirt.

She captioned the post: "Birthday girl."

Princess later replied to her boyfriend calling it the “Best treat ever," as he described the evening as a "birthday treat".

In a video also shared Princess gave a glimpse of some of the gifts she’d been given, presumably from her boyfriend, including a wad of cash, a heart-shaped necklace and a diamond ring – that she wore for the evening out – a huge box of chocolates, a teddy bear made out of red roses and a cute pair of pink Nike hi-tops.

Princess's dad – Pete, 50, was one of the first to wish his baby girl happy birthday yesterday.

"Happy 16th birthday to my sweet, kind, caring and, let’s be honest, often moody daughter," he wrote on Instagram alongside a sweet montage of the youngster through the years.

"Hope today is everything you wish for. Pancakes are ready when you come downstairs as requested. But you still have to clean your plate. A princess to everyone else but always Bista to me.

"So proud of you. Stay kind, humble and funny. Love you so so much."

He previously revealed to OK! Magazine that Princess had been unsure as to how she wanted to spend her birthday and that she may just decide on the day.

"We don’t have any official plans yet – she’s very last-minute when it comes to deciding things," he said.

"Junior and Princess are very different, when it was his birthday he knew he wanted a specific thing early on, whereas Princess can’t decide.

"That’s why I love them both. I’m happy to let her choose whatever she wants to do to celebrate."

Meanwhile, the teenager's mum Katie, 45, also took to social media to wish her daughter the best day.

She wrote: "Princess Andre, love you so much. Can't believe you are 16 today."

Princess's birthday is sure to be bittersweet for the parents, who met on I'm A Celebrity… in 2004, seeing her heading off for a romantic evening with her boyfriend all grown up.

Pete had previously admitted he has been 'stressing' over her dating.

Last year, Pete said he banned her from dating but his wife Emily Andre forced him to change his mind.

"One of the things she taught me was very early on when Princess and Junior were younger. I'd say Junior could do this and that and Princess had to be a nun and could never have a boyfriend," Pete said.

"Emily taught me that whatever rule I gave to Junior, I had to treat all the other children the same and she has made me look at things differently and change my old-school mentality."
