Inside Phillip Schofield's lockdown bank holiday as he isolates in £2 million home

Phillip Schofield - alongside presenting partner Holly Willoughby - has been a constant and reassuring presence for the nation throughout the coronavirus crisis.

But even television staples need time away from work, with Phil kicking back in his family's £2 million Oxfordshire mansion over the bank holiday weekend.

He recently put to bed rumours that he'd upped sticks to a central London flat after coming out as gay, sticking about in Henley-On-Thames where there are murder mystery nights, barbecues, and plenty of gin.

There as well, of course, if wife Stephanie Lowe, daughters Molly and Ruby, and Ruby's boyfriend.

The house boasts a huge but elegant conservatory, looking out onto their garden where Phil proudly takes on barbecuing duties.

A large patio covers a considerable amount of ground, featuring a long table for late night drinks with pals and extended family summer meets.

Ivy crawls up the side of the house, in keeping with the natural, down-to-earth aesthetic.

The garden itself sprawls, with a thickness of trees simulating a forest.

The interior of the home is where modern and classic looks meet, the kitchen taking on a more recent marble and granite style, while living areas are adorned with wooden trinkets and nick nacks.

Ceiling to floor windows in the conservatory make sure they all get plenty of light, while candles and heavy-based lamps are nearby for those burning the midnight oil.

Another area - maybe another kitchen? - includes an AGA, giving the whole place a more home-y feel.

Some parts of the property even have a farmhouse vibe going on, with great wooden chests of draws surrounding deep, luxurious sofas.

Phil and Steph have made sure to keep in touch with nature by adorning walls and window sills with plenty of lush greenery.

At Christmas, the house glows with colour, including bright green baubles dangling from the curtains.

The house is transformed into one more cozy to stave off the biting cold, woolen blankets to be found at every corner.
