Inside one of UK's most expensive houses with panic room and walk-in wine cooler

With a helicopter pad and a panic room, James Bond wouldn't look out of place in this seven-bedroom luxury home.

The property - which is the most expensive in the region - also boasts of elaborate dressing rooms, cinema room, bar, staff quarters, well as a basement state-of-the-art swimming pool, sauna and gym.

And for a cool £10 million it could all be yours, Nottinghamshire Live reports.

It is the latest creation by developer Guy Phoenix.

With a reputation for pushing the boundaries when it comes to house building - he once included a shark tank in one of his Nottingham homes - Guy's just completed a mega home in Edwalton that has again exceeded expectations.

The size of a small hotel, the luxury new build property will be launched to the open sales market early next week.

It will be the most expensive home on the market in Nottinghamshire at an eye-watering £10million.

Named Hermitage and set in 1.5 acres, it is no surprise that this huge four-storey property has plenty of accommodation.

There are seven bedroom suites for a start and each includes not only a bedroom, walk-in wardrobe and en suite but also private living area.

Some also have flat screen televisions and balconies.

A 360 degree walk around landing flows into three of the bedrooms suites, including the self-contained apartment which has been described at staff quarters.

Then there's the luxury fittings. Armani bathrooms, designer wallpapers, climate control, air conditioning, surround sound, multiple built-in self-charging mounted iPads.

When it comes to security, there's a monitored alarm system as well as 360-degree security camera system, and even a digital entrance and exit code system.

In the reception hall a helical staircase with a chandelier that reflects shimmering light from the glass floor over the basement and the swimming pool underneath makes the whole room glisten.

A seemingly endless amount of ground floor family living and social accommodation includes an open-plan lounge with fitted large flat screen television, kitchen and dining room with raised bar area, cooled pantry, walk-in wine cooler, Gaggenau appliances, granite and marble work surfaces.

There's also a formal dining room, private office, cinema, separate bar with relaxing area, playroom or breakfast room and a utility.

You'll also get a holiday feeling outside with a large terrace, a pond with lighting and water feature and fire pit.
