The team which brought premium bowling centre Lane 7 to Newcastle opened its first family friendly bowling alley and entertainment venue in North Shields today.
Lane7 has spent two months renovating the former Star Bowl in Rotary Way, North Shields , with a mission to create a modern bowling alley and entertainment centre aimed at families. Just like Lane7 in Newcastle, Gutterball boasts a range of activities as well as 16 bowling lanes. Kids and adults can try their hand at mini golf, pool, ping pong, batting cage baseball, curling and shooting basketballs.
ChronicleLive had a look inside the new venue ahead of its launch, and it's a world away from Star Bowl.
Gutterball Alley is open Monday to Thursday, from noon to midnight, from noon to late on Fridays and 10am to late on Saturdays.
