Inside new Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village hotel

New images of Liverpool’s highest hotel - Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village hotel - which is due to open next week have been revealed.

The hotel, which will open its doors on July 4, stands at 16 storeys and includes 221 bedrooms.

Located in the Knowledge Quarter, it will feature a ground floor coffee shop supplied by Liverpool-based independent, Bean Coffee.

In an exclusive partnership, Bean will supply its locally roasted coffee throughout the hotel, including in guests' bedrooms. Likewise, Baltic Triangle-based company Love Lane Brewery has joined forces with the new hotel to offer guests its Liverpool-made beverage.

The company was recently saved from closing its doors forever after a former Iceland boss invested £300,000.

The new hotel features the latest facilities for business and leisure travellers, from meeting and conferencing areas to a children’s recreational space in the lobby, a restaurant and gym, as well as offering 360-degree views of the city and beyond.

Hotel bosses have said that a unique feature is its 32 long-stay, apartment-style accommodation. It is also the first hotel in the UK to feature the brand’s new global design concept by the Sundukovy Sisters.

General manager Howard Lewis said: "I am thrilled to finally be able to reveal what the hotel will look like inside, and I invite our neighbours to come and see it for themselves when we finally open our doors to the public on July 4.

"Most important to me is that guests come here and know they are in Liverpool. That is why we are so excited to announce new partnerships with local businesses such as Bean Coffee and Love Lane Brewery, who will bring that quality, authentic Scouse experience to our guests, whether they are staying with us for a business trip, or simply popping into the lobby for a cup of coffee and a catch-up with a friend.

"It is essential that we support our local suppliers, and we are actively looking to work with other local companies over the coming months."

Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village has been chosen as the flagship hotel for the new £1bn Paddington Village development.

Constructed by Morgan Sindall Construction, the Liverpool City Council-owned hotel is franchised by Accor and will be managed by Legacy Hotels & Resorts on the council’s behalf.

The hotel has been designed by Ryder Architecture, with Faithful+Gould acting as project managers.
