Inside Maisie Smith's love life as she's spotted 'snogging' Strictly co-star Max George

Former EastEnders star Maisie Smith is reported to be in a secret romance with Max George after the pair were spotted "snogging" on a flight to Crete.

The sighting of the couple comes less than a week after it was reported that Max, 33, had split from Stacey Giggs for the second time, after the pair rekindled their romance following the tragic death of Max's bandmate Tom Parker.

But it looks like the singer has moved on quickly with 21-year-old Maisie as the pair were allegedly "all over each other", according to The Sun.

A passenger told them: “They looked like a very loved-up couple — they were all over each other for the entire four-hour flight.

“Snogging and giggling like any new couple.”

Maisie has been pretty secretive about her love life in the past, but Max isn't the first Strictly co-star that the actress has been linked to — here's everything we know about her dating history.

Who is Maisie Smith dating?

Maisie Smith is now believed to be dating The Wanted singer Max George, after the pair were spotted looking "very loved-up" on a flight as they jetted off to Crete.

Maisie and George both starred on Strictly Come Dancing in 2020, but the couple didn't get to know each other properly during their first Strictly stint.

Instead, they allegedly became close after they both took part in the Strictly Come Dancing tour, which started back in January this year.

The EastEnders actress wasn't supposed to be taking part in the tour, but stepped in last-minute to replace TV presenter AJ Odudu, who had suffered an ankle injury.

According to The Sun, the pair's relationship is already getting serious. A source told them: "Max has told people that he is falling in love with Maisie.”

Who has Maisie Smith dated before?

Maisie was rumoured to be dating HRVY while they competed on Strictly in 2020 (BBC)

In 2020, the actress was rumoured to be secretly dating singer HRVY behind the scenes of Strictly Come Dancing.

The couple were reported to be seen kissing at the Strictly wrap party, fuelling reports that they had started a relationship.

But HRVY later confessed that there was no romance between the pair and and they would "play up" to the rumours.

He told The Sun: "Nothing happened. It was funny to watch everyone talk about it. Sometimes we were like, 'Shall we play up to it?' We are really good friends and still speak."

Last year Maisie sparked romance rumours with on-screen husband Zack Morris (GETTY)

In 2021, Maisie was subject to new romance rumours, this time with her EastEnders co-star Zack Morris, who played her on-screen love interest Keegan Baker.

It was reported that the pair had "taken their romance off-screen" after they were spotted leaving the cinema together before heading to Zack's flat.

But in an interview with Fabulous, Maisie shut down the rumours. She told them: “It’s similar to Hrvy in that we are just very close.

“Me and Zack worked every single day together, so we built such a nice friendship and we meet up.

“Because he’s the opposite sex, people just jump to conclusions that we are an item. We’re actually just good friends.”

Maisie was linked to Joe Garratt earlier this year (ITV)

Before being spotted with Max George, Maisie was most recently linked to Love Island star Joe Garratt.

Earlier this year The Sun reported that they were "growing close" and Joe told them that they "got on really well" after meeting at an event.

But romance didn't bloom between the pair, Joe said: "We met at an event – I think it was an event a few weeks back, maybe a month ago – got on really well.

"(Maisie is a) really cool girl. I met her mum and sister, who were also with her, and it was all good and I didn't think there was nothing to it.

"We're literally just friends. Just pal-y, it's nothing ever more. We are just friends actually. We're cool, we're cool."
