Inside Madonna's troubled Madame X tour as she courageously battles health woes

Madonna finally brought her Madame X live tour to the UK last night.

The Queen of Pop, 61, has been plagued with various health issues since the start of her tour for her latest album but debuted at the London Palladium

Madge will perform across a further 13 dates in the coming weeks, but last night showed no sign of her health struggles - and displaying her trademark deadpan humour.

According to The Sun, she said: "When I moved here, everyone accused me of having a British accent and I didn't know what they were talking about. Until I heard back old interviews. And I was horrified."

The colourful show incorporated various costume changes and some elaborate dance moves amongst immersive set designs.

However, as Madonna"performed a handstand, after opening her legs wide, grabbing her crotch and bending over", it seems there was no obvious sign of her recent health issues.

She had cancelled the first night of the UK tour earlier this week on medical advice.

She noted at the time: "I am deeply sorry I have to cancel my concert. Under doctors’ guidance I have been told to rest for a few days.

"As you all know I have injuries that have plagued me since the beginning of the tour but I must always listen to my body and put my health first.

"The last thing I want to do is disappoint my fans or compromise the integrity of my show. So I will keep going until I cannot."

So far, Madge has been forced to cancel ten shows since the tour began four months ago.

The Queen of Pop has been said to have pushed her body to its limits as she faces "overwhelming pain” and exhaustion.

The Express Yourself star commented on Facebook following the cancellation of her last US show in December: "They have made it very clear to me that if l’am to continue my tour— I must rest for as long as possible so that I don’t inflict further and Irreversible damage to my body.

"I have never let an injury stop me from performing but this time i have to accept that there is no shame in being human and having to press the pause button."

Having suffered from horrific knee and hip injuries, it would seem there's no keeping her down as she blasted through the intense choreography from the show.

Keeping to her comments in her Christmas post on social media: "I consider myself a warrior I never quit, I never give in, I never give up!!"

Her 2019 album Madame X reached number 2 in the UK album charts last year.

She has been dating her 25-year-old boyfriend Ahlamalik Williams since last year.

Ahlamalik's father Drue, 59, recently spoke of how pleased he is at their relationship.

Drue said: "My son is livin' la Vida Loca, and I'm just happy for him."
