Inside Made in Chelsea's Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo's glitzy second wedding in Marbella

Famous pals of Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo are in Marbella to watch the couple tie the knot for the second time this weekend.

The former Made In Chelsea stars will say ‘I do’ in front of family and friends in the glitzy resort of Marbella.

Spencer Matthews – who missed their first wedding in London’s Chelsea – looked to have made the guestlist this time.

Sam Thompson and his girlfriend Zara McDermott posted snaps on Instagram saying they were ‘wedding bound’, as did Proudlock and his model wife Louise Connolly.

Millie Mackintosh and beau Hugo Taylor looked to have arrived a day before without their kids and were living it up around the pool and on date nights.

Other famous faces to have been spotted at the wedding in the Puerto Romano Resort of Marbella are Made In Chelsea star Melissa Tattam.

Snaps posted by Sophie ahead of the wedding show Melissa is one of her bridesmaids, along with her sister Georgia.

Although exact details of Jamie and Sophie’s second wedding have been closely under wraps, we know there was a lavish rehearsal dinner on Friday night.

Sophie shared photos of herself in a white mini dress – not unlike the one she wore for her Chelsea wedding.

The puff-sleeve number had a cut out detail on the back and she paired it with white heels with bows on and a pearl handbag.

Sharing a photo of Jamie, 34, and Sophie, 29, kissing, their MIC pal Melissa wrote: “Magical.”

In another loved-up snap shared by Sophie’s posh pal Arabella Smith, Jamie is kissing Habbs as they stand in front of a swimming pool. The caption read: “We’re getting married tomorrow.”

The reality TV couple, who found love on the Channel 4 show, said ‘I do’ in a service at Chelsea Registry Office on April 14.

Judy Garland and her fifth and final husband Mickey Deans married there in 1969. While Patsy Kensit chose the same venue to tie the knot with Simple Minds singer Jim Kerr in 1992.

Jamie and Sophie’s pals Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor also chose the Chelsea venue when they said ‘I do’ in 2018.

Sophie shunned a long wedding dress for a white mini, reminiscent of the gown worn by Kourtney Kardashian or Lily Allen on their wedding days.

The white gown, which looked to be made of satin, had a corset bodice, chic off-the-shoulder sleeves and asymmetric hemline.

She kept it traditional with a white veil and wore white satin sling back heels with diamanté straps around the ankle.

In a nod to her new husband, Sophie held a white clutch bag which had the words ‘Wifey For Lifey’ emblazoned on it.

Her flowers were equally understated and instead of a huge bunch, she held a small posy of spring flowers.

Following the intimate ceremony, Jamie and Sophie joined a select group of family and friends for a special lunch at one of their favourite haunts, Stanley's Restaurant Chelsea.

Jamie and Sophie shot to fame on hit reality TV show Made In Chelsea, following the lives of posh 20-somethings living in the upmarket London borough.

So it is perhaps fitting the Jamie and Sophie chose a local venue for their first big day after months of toying with the idea of marrying abroad.

Other possible locations on their list had been Cape Town in South Africa on New Year’s Eve, Barbados, Mykonos and Croatia.

But for the second wedding they ended up settling on Marbella - and the ceremony this time around is thought to be a much bigger affair.
