Love Island’s Lucinda reportedly got back together with footballer Aaron Connolly before she entered the villa.
Since the 21-year-old walked into the villa as a bombshell, she has proven to be very popular.
She first coupled up with Brad, before he was dumped from the island.
She then went on to couple up with new boy Danny as of last night, she has started to show more interest in Aaron, while Danny has moved on to chat to other girls in the villa.
However, a source has told the Sun that Lucinda and her footballer ex-boyfriend Aaron Connolly rekindled their relationship before Lucinda traveled to Majorca for the dating show.
Up until this year, she had been in a relationship with Irish soccer player Aaron Connolly. The 21-year-old Republic of Ireland star dated Lucinda for two years.
However, a video emerged in March, showing Connolly allegedly cheating on Lucinda with another woman at a house.
The pair broke it off but when rumours started spreading about Lucinda entering the Love Island villa, Aaron was said to have begged her not to do the show.
Despite being on the show, a source told the Sun that: “Lucinda and Aaron reconciled before she went on Love Island.
“It was meant to be a big secret because there are strict rules about it.”
Connolly has reportedly been looking after Lucinda’s dog and even drove her to the airport to catch her flight to Majorca.
A source said: “Aaron was only too happy to look after Lucinda’s dog.
“It makes him feel like they are still the couple they are.”
A source also revealed to the Sun that the pair being back together was meant to be a huge secret: “It was meant to be a big secret because there are strict rules about it.
“No one wants to watch a dating show where the stars are really pining for lovers back home.”
