Kim Kardashian has found herself at the heart of controversy following a string of tweets in which she told of her outrageously luxurious 40th birthday getaway.
The reality star and business woman whisked away her nearest and dearest to a remote tropical island, where they were pampered and waited on at the absolute height of luxury.
And Kim told that the whole gang, who'd gathered to celebrate Kim's fourth decade in the world, had quarantined for two weeks before boarding a private plane.
She's believed to have dished out a staggering $1 million (£774,000), and it's not hard to see why with glimpses into the decadent jet.
Page Six reported Kim had spent the high-figure, hiring out the 88-seater Boeing 777 private jet.
Full-size dining tables, decorated with flowers, front a bar, where staff can be seen whipping up cocktails and serving drinks.
The cabin, meanwhile, boasts deep seats with extra leg room - no doubt a big plus for Khloe's ex Tristan Thompson, who stands at 6ft9.
Guests can be seen kicking back in true luxury, and tucking into the complete breakfast bar and buffet once they'd had a snooze and felt well rested.
Piers Morgan has been among those to slam Kim's tweets, while others, including sister Khloe, have jumped to her defence.
Khloe told Ellen DeGeneres that the trip had been a "beautiful experience" and how she doesn't want Kim to focus on anything but that.
Kim had tweeted, alongside a series of snaps of the celebrations: "40 and feeling so humbled and blessed. There is not a single day that I take for granted, especially during these times when we are all reminded of the things that truly matter.
"For my birthday this year, I couldn't think of a better way to spend it than with some of the people who have helped shaped me into the woman I am today.
"Before COVID, I don't think any of us truly appreciated what a simple luxury it was to be able to travel and be together with family and friends in a safe environment.
"After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time.
"We danced, rode bikes, swam near whales, kayaked, watched a movie on the beach and so much more. I realize that for most people, this is something that is so far out of reach right now, so in moments like these, I am humbly reminded of how privileged my life is. #thisis40."
