But their celebratory brunch days after their ceremony was a much more crazy affair; complete with boozing, twerking and kebabs galore.
The couple's pals have broken their social media silences to share endless pictures and videos from the party, which was held at Nurs-Et in Masmaris.
The eatery is run by internet sensation Nusret Gökçe, also known as Salt Bae, who appeared in a string of Instagram videos cooking for the group.
He was seen feeding meat to groom Rio, 40, who even tried out his signature salt sprinkling move.
Kate, 28, posted a picture with her new husband at their do, looking stunning in a bridal-style midi-dress.
The former TOWIE star captioned the post: "Day1 of the wedding celebrations.... BRUNCH"
The couple's pal Zoe Hamilton filmed herself dancing with the other guests while they downed glasses of wine.
Another pal shared videos of the group enjoying the party with cocktails in hand.
One guest even bent over and twerked along to the music.
The brunch was decorated with hundreds of ballons and floral arrangements on all the tables.
Candles baring Kate and Rio's names decked out the restaurant, which is right by the beach.
The happy couple exchanged vows in front of close family and friends at the five-star luxury D Maris Bay hotel, in Turkey on Friday.
They got engaged in November last year and their nuptials were shrouded in secrecy, with guests asked to hand over their phones before the three-day celebrations got underway.
Kate and Rio began dating after the tragic death of his wife, Rebecca Ellison, the mother of his three children Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, and Tia.
Their love story goes back to when the lovebirds first started dating in late 2016.
They had been together for two flourishing years before he popped the question.
