She's known for her love of fancy dress and Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall celebrated New Year's Eve in serious style which saw her transform into one of her icons.
The South Shields singer had been spending plenty of time on home turf over the Christmas period, once again taking part in the Boxing Day dip on her birthday, before celebrating turning 27 with a party at her Red Door bar in the town.
And she kept the festive partying going elsewhere with an epic celebration to welcome in 2020, being the 'Queen of the Night' quite literally, dressing up as Whitney Houston's famous Bodyguard character Rachel Marron.
Jade shared a number of pictures and video clips from the Night at the Movies party which was attended by loads of her friends, who were also suitably dressed for the occasion with the likes of of Robin from Batman, Clark Kent, James Bond and Maleficient all in attendance.
She continued sharing images of her as Whitney on New Year's Day, captioning them with lyrics from Queen of the Night, including "I’VE GOT THE STUFF THAT YOU WANT"
Prior to the bvash, Jade shared a throwback to the end of December 2018, when she dressed as Diana Ross, captioning the picture "Last year dressed as my idol Diana Ross...year before was a Drag Queen extravaganza...what will this year’s party bring?" On the basis of her Instagram story and pictures, it brought one hell of a party!
And Jade's Instagram followers were full of praise for her Whitney look. Her Little Mix bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock responded "Epiccccc," while former X Factor winner Louisa Johnson reacted "Wowzaaa," and Strictly judge and Ru Paul's Drag Race UK judge Michelle Visage wrote "Love you angel."
