Inside Howard Donald's home life after Take That singer shares rare snaps of daughter

Howard Donald is known by millions as one quarter of Take That but behind the on stage star he has a much quieter home life.

The singer and musician rarely posts to Instagram about his family life but recently shared a shot of his daughter Grace.

Howard's 23-year-old fresh faced daughter appeared wearing a gorgeous puffed sleeve vintage dress in front of the background of a red brick London roof terrace with a drink in hand.

The shot showed his daughter beaming back at the camera.

So with this in mind let's take a deep dive into Howard's family life from his marital status to his kids to where he calls home.

Fatherhood and fame

At 54 years young Howard is in the thick of it raising two sons Bowie Taylan, seven, and Dougie Bear, six, with his wife and illustrator Katie Halil.

The pair met on the set of a Marks & Spencer Christmas ad and started dating two years later before finally tying the knot in 2015.

Howard's other children – two daughters – are now grown up, with Grace born to his ex Victoria Piddington, while he had his younger daughter Lola, now 17, from his relationship with Marie-Christine Musswessels.

Lola moved from Germany to live with her dad and Katie when she was 15 and it was the first time he was 'raising her under his own roof'.

Rainbow rooms

The pair live in a plush Kensington home and describes the design as looking though "a rainbow has puked up" in it.

The £4.4 million four storey townhouse incredible views of a typical London street lined with traditional redbrick homes and trees.

Katie, who runs her own decor and design company called What Katie Drew, has styled the living room a little more neutral in design with a comfy tan corner sofa and shaggy cream rug.

There's also a plush original fireplace that has been distressed to create a more vintage style.

Romance and reality

Howard has previously shared an insight into married life as he told fans the "trials and tribulations of marriage", and revealed having kids had been "truly testing".

In an emotional message he told on Instagram: "We weather through the storm together and try to keep each other warm from the elements and through this sleepless period in our lives."

The 50-year-old singer's fans praised him for being so honest and romantic in his post and told Katie he tells her everyday that he loves her.

Guilt

Howard Donald has admitted he feels 'a hell of a lot of guilt' for leaving his ex-partners to look after their children.

Speaking on Dave Berry's Dadpod, he said: "I hold a lot of guilt. I hold a hell of a lot of guilt for leaving my ex-partners and leaving my child for them to look after."

Despite his sense of guilt, Howard told how he has always made an effort to be supportive of his kids.

His daughter Lola moved in with himself and Katie two years ago and that added a new family dynamic as she was 15 at the time 'the worst age' and he was 'learning a lot' in that time.

Fitness

The Masked singer star has admitted at 54 he's found the struggles of having young children physically demanding but shared a joke with followers on Instagram showing him peddling a somewhat vintage 'exercise bike' in a garage..

But he is quick to admit he's not as fit as he needs to be and in the same interview admitted he's 'struggled' being a dad again in his 50s.

Describing caring for his young sons as "physically and mentally draining" he advised against anyone having kids in later life.

But appearing on The Masked singer gave him an opportunity to have a fitness challenge and to mix things up a bit.

Howard told Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield: "When I first got asked it was one of those things where I thought I don't really feel comfortable with that.

''But then I thought I like doing things I don't feel comfortable with.

"It was a massive challenge, putting yourself into the deep end really. And obviously through boredom and obviously to get away from the kids!"
