Inside Good Morning Britain co-host Ben Shephard's incredible family home

Ben Shephard has suggested that he wants to scale down his work load to spend more time with his family.

And when you take a peek inside The Good Morning Britain co-host's home, you cannot blame him.

He appears to live in a perfect oasis of family bliss with his wife Annie and their two sons, The Mirror reports.

Ben is a keen gardener and has often shown off his handiwork on Instagram.

From the looks of his garden, he certainly has green fingers as it is a space where plants are flourishing and tranquillity is key.

Inside the house there is a spacious kitchen and dining room, with a cosy lounge for those long winter nights in.

It is outside though which takes pride of place, as Ben grows fruit and puts his handyman skills to good use, making a gin bench for those cheeky G&T moments.

He documented the moment he used it for the first time with a snap on Instagram, captioning it with: "Verified Ahhh the first gins on the garden gin bench (which I built and amazingly is still standing!?) for #2019 - they won’t last long!! #HappyEaster #Gin #GardenGin,” he captioned this photo.

Trees and lawns have been perfectly manicured and last year, Ben grew apples in his orchard.

Moving inside the house, the lounge is decked out in a blue colour scheme with hints of mustard.

There the TV is wall-mounted and the coffee table at the centre of the room is the place for books and candles.

The living room boasts an open and airy feel with doors opening directly out into the garden.

Moving into the dining area, there is a large wooden table that can comfortably sit eight guests.

Both the lounge area and dining room has wooden parquet flooring running throughout, with a grey rug placed under the dining room table.

Ben and Annie's sons are celebrated in black and white framed photos that are wall mounted close to an ornate mirror.

The kitchen boasts modern cabinets and marble worktops, with a grey theme to compliment the dark coloured walls. The windows have white shutter blinds, to close out the day.

It is little wonder why Ben would like to spend more time in his idyllic home.
